We are a family company, passionate about Portugal, which organizes private and small group Tours, throughout the country, with the main focus in Porto, as well as Douro Valley.

MEET THE TEAM!
SARA & RUI
Sara is passionate about Porto and Douro Valley. She is your specialist guide and the person who takes you to discover the region’s most emblematic icons.
She was a schoolteacher for 23 years and after her unemployment in 2012, Sara decided to invest in herself. In other words, she graduated in Tourism and concluded her Master’s degree in the Douro Valley, her true passion. Meanwhile, in 2013, she created Oporto & Douro Moments.
At first, it was only her, but soon it extended to the family and quickly became a recognized company in Portugal and abroad.
Rui enjoys Portuguese culture and gastronomy. He also loves working with clients and is your experienced guide and driver.
As a matter of fact, our families are originally from Douro Valley, so we are very attached to the region and have known it since we were little children!
JOANA
Joana graduated in Biology and has a Master’s degree in Applied Biology, with a thesis on Conservation of the Iberian Lynx in Portugal.
She also studied in Finland via the Erasmus exchange program and, in 2018, integrated a scientific expedition in Indonesia as a research assistant.
Later, in 2022, she was part of the mammal team in another scientific expedition, this time in Croatia. At the same time, she helped implement environmental conservation programs in those countries.
She manages the travel arrangements for our clients to make sure their trips run smoothly and she is also responsible for creating content for our social media.
JOÃO
João graduated in International Relations and has exceptional cultural knowledge. He also has the WSET level 2 award in wines.
He is passionate about music and an avid reader, always keeping abreast with world politics.
He is also knowledgeable of the academic university traditions and stands out in the representation of his University in Porto.
João is your passionate guide and is also responsible for Digital Marketing.
OUR LUXURIOUS FLEET
A Mercedes V 250, a convertible VW EOS and a Highline VW Sharan. Private transport and guiding services are available in English, French, Spanish and German.
Together, we give you an embracing view of Portugal in a very gratifying way. Specially, without strict schedules, while being environmentally conscious.
